Dear Jane triangle RS8 - love for ever

My first triangle, chose this one as I love the hearts and I am really enjoying appliqué now.
I cut the plain triangle bigger using my dear Jane triangle so that I could trim it after appliqué, when placing the appliqué I double checked with the triangle that they would be inside the final block and inside the seam allowance, I then made a fold line and placed the three appliqué  pieces down with distances I liked.
I had prepared the appliqué pieces in advances with freeze paper to the finished size and ironed them to the fold line. Used a bit of foxing glue at the points and centre of the heart joins. But I released the glue when appliqué img just had it for setting the shape.
I took paper out and then pinned on triangle and used silk thread, I did not have red so used a neutral colour similar to background fabric, my stitching is very small so this was fine but obviously best would be to match thread to appliqué.
